Have you ever wanted to paint a meaningful message on the road using a mobile, tweet-fed, hydraulic robot that uses non-toxic, water soluble, paint to print nearly real-time tweets?

I can't say that I have before now, but with the 'One Street Tweet Printer' you could have done! During the week of the G8 Summit back in May, one.org had a huge mobile inkjet printer filled with water soluble paint/ink that allowed tweeters to send in a 40 character long message to be printed on to the roads of the UK.

As you can see in the image above and on their twitter page they printed many a tweet, some of which aren't perfectly legible, but non the less it's a very cool concept and harmless too as the messages will have disappeared after all this summer rain we're having.
